Family friend just bought a swatch of 60 acres. Found a barn on the property filled with miscellaneous transmissions, axles, and this little guy behind the barn. Anyone know what it is?

Looks like an Austin Healey...not sure of the model though.

An MG or Austin Healey would be my guess.

Austin Healey 100-6 or 3000 going off the grille space. Hard to tell cause it's all bent out of shape. Window pillars make me think 100-6 though.

I think we have a winner! That was quick.

The owner, probably in his mid-80's, tried to tell me it was a DB5 like the one used in Goldfinger, I sort of scoffed at that...

My boss has a 100-6 so I'm somewhat familiar with them.

looks like drums on the front? so I'm still thinking it's the 100-6 instead of the 3000
They're the same car really, the 3000 just had a bigger motor and some other improvements.

my guess is 3000. I have a friend with a heavily modified kit car, he stuffed a 302 inside. Monstrous power.

restore it, do not sell it. Especially if its a original. Keep it as long as you can.

do you think this would be worth trying to restore? It seems pretty far gone.

Drums in the front. Didn't check the under the hood as the sun was heading down

yes. These cars are very nice, and while the body and interior need work, check the frame. These are gorgeous, fun cars that always turn heads.

find the VIN, and try to find the cars history.

There's the DB-5....hood looks similar, Grille absolutely not. You got yourself an Austin Healey in terrible shape.

fair enough, the chassis code will settle it for sure, if it starts with a BN7 it's a 3000, BN6 is the 100-6... not sure how much that will matter as plant life seems to be growing through the floor :(

Beautiful car when they're put together.

That, my friend, is a Pequea Model 125 Manure Spreader. 125 bushel capacity, with a 2-speed PTO-driven gearbox, and eight (count-em- 8!) aggressive beaters for even and efficient spreading of your favorite herbivore by-products.
